Is Tipstar free?
Yes. It's completely free for players to join and tip. Premium ($4.99/year) only comes in if you want to be in more than one division.
When do tips lock?
Right on kickoff for each game. Every game locks on its own, so don't leave it to the last minute.
Can I change my tip?
Yep, right up until kickoff. After that it's locked in for good.
What if I forget to tip?
You get zero points for any game you miss. We'll give you a nudge before tips lock so it doesn't come to that.
What is the margin game?
One game a round where you also pick the winning margin in points. It settles ties at the end of the season.
What if a game is a draw?
Everyone gets a correct tip for that game, no matter who they picked.
How is the winner decided?
Most correct tips wins. If two people tie, the margins settle it, and the lowest total margin across the season takes the win.
How do I join another division?
Tap "Join another division" on the dashboard or your profile. You'll need Premium to be in more than one.
How do I switch divisions?
Tap the division name at the top of the dashboard to hop between your divisions.
